    Videomancer 1.0.0-rc.50

    MCU-only fix for PAL/CVBS analog output dying after embedded program changes
    (Dual / Analog RGB 1V modular rigs). Follow-up to rc.49 — mirrors boot encoder
    lifecycle. Embedded vmprogs unchanged vs rc.48.

    Changes

    • Encoder reload window — ADV7393 RESET_N held and ADA4412 LPF disabled from
      program unload through post-upload VSYNC; PAL SDP configure deferred until stable
      FPGA sync (serial: analog=0 at load, analog=1 on first VSYNC).
    • Sync-health retry — Up to three VSYNC-gated ADV7393 configure attempts when
      H/V sync readback fails on SD composite.
    • Input pre-config — Decoder/receiver reconfigured before unload on program
      selection (boot/routing parity).

    Requires

    • Flash 1.0.0-rc.50 UF2 (MCU firmware only — same 27 embedded programs as rc.48).
    • Full UF2 flash recommended for units hitting CVBS blackout on program change.

    Beta testing focus

    Goals: lifecycle/beta/goals/1.0.0-rc.50.yaml.

    1. Composite program change (heavylight repro) — Dual In + RGB 1V + PAL +
      CVBS out; change embedded programs without power cycle (see
      qa/procedures/video_io/composite_program_change.md §1b).
    2. rc.49 regression smoke — HDMI and HD embedded paths unchanged (MCU-only release).
